The state has a responsibility to the 60% of Delawareans that support legal cannabis and the $2.1M dollars they collected for licensing new businesses, to bring a fair and equitable adult use market to the state. Two counties proposed outright bans on sales and product manufacturing via zoning, which would supersede a state law that was passed in 2023 legalizing cannabis and setting the steps towards an adult use market. This is all while an illicit market runs rampant in all three counties, and unregulated/untested hemp products are sold in hundreds of gas stations throughout the state. YES TO SB75

The Delaware Department of Transportation announces that Delmarva Central Railroad Company forces will be performing general maintenance work at the Railroad Crossing on East Market Street, estimated to begin at 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. The work will require intermittent shoulder and lane closures of East Market Street at the Railroad Crossing. The work is expected to be completed by 5:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2025.

Motorist are reminded to slow down in work zones and to expect minor delays while in the area.
